I like the Speciale more because it will be worth more in 30 years. But I think I'd like the standard one better to use around town. The Italian, leather is so nice, and the track version has none.

And CAcoalminer got to drive it. He said the steering is so fast that it's almost too fast for the street.

Plus, I don't know what they did, but it definitely seems like the Speciale sounds as good. It sounds more buzzy than tonal, and the shifts don't have that same poppiness to them.

It doesn't look as good, either. I know the aero bits are functional, but to me they ruined the lines and the form of the car. I love how the Italia manages to look totally alien yet completely smooth; I love the triple exhausts; I love the front air intake with those little flexy things. All that's gone on the Speciale.

Spider is fine for the cold months. It has a heater and seat heaters. And the inside probably stays pretty well insulated with the hard top up
